TGIA Hatchery – Sales Policy

Live Chick Sales Policy

All live chick sales are subject to the following terms. By placing an order or accepting birds at pickup, the customer agrees to these conditions.

1. Breed Accuracy

We hatch from carefully selected breeding stock and make every effort to provide birds that match the breed ordered.

However:

  • We do not guarantee show quality or breeding perfection
  • Natural genetic variation can occur
  • Minor faults (including but not limited to extra toes, feather variation, or size differences) may be present

These do not qualify as defects or grounds for refund.

2. No Guarantee of Breeding Quality

Our birds are sold as utility livestock, not guaranteed breeding or show stock.

We do not guarantee:

  • Conformance to breed standards
  • Fertility or breeding outcomes
  • Suitability for specific breeding programs

Customers purchasing for breeding purposes assume this risk.

3. Sexing Policy

Unless explicitly stated:

  • All chicks are sold unsexed
  • We do not guarantee gender

4. Customer Inspection & Acceptance

At the time of pickup:

  • Customers are given the opportunity to inspect all birds
  • Once birds leave the property, they are considered accepted in full condition

No refunds or exchanges will be issued after pickup for:

  • Appearance
  • Traits (including polydactyly or other variations)
  • Breed concerns
  • Gender outcomes

5. Pickup & Scheduling

We make reasonable efforts to accommodate pickup requests.

However:

  • Hatch timing is not exact
  • Changing pickup dates may affect availability and selection
  • Early or adjusted pickups may result in limited hatch options

No guarantees are made regarding selection size when pickup dates are changed.

6. Health Guarantee (Limited)

We guarantee that all chicks are:

  • Alive
  • Visibly healthy at the time of pickup

Once birds leave our care, we cannot control environmental conditions, and therefore:

  • No health guarantees extend beyond pickup

7. Refund Policy

All sales are final once birds leave the property.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Cosmetic traits or genetic variations
  • Customer dissatisfaction
  • Breeding suitability concerns
  • Gender outcomes

Refunds or credits may only be considered if:

  • A chick is non-viable at the time of pickup and identified before leaving

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

By purchasing from TGIA Hatchery, customers agree to:

  • Contact us directly to resolve any concerns
  • Not initiate chargebacks without prior communication

We reserve the right to dispute all chargebacks with documentation, including:

  • Order history
  • Communication records
  • Policy acknowledgment

9. Agreement to Terms

Placing an order, scheduling pickup, or accepting birds constitutes full agreement to this policy.
